It was an awfully nice Saturday to get out of the house, and for lots of folks that meant it was a nice day to get out on a motorcycle.
Two people ended up dead today because they were out for a ride.

Guy in white was driving the black sedan at this crash in Lowell on Merrimack Street tonight.
I have no indication that either the motorcycle drivers or other drivers did anything wrong today, but two motorcycle fatalities occurred just three hours apart. It’s a good reminder that everyone should be extra alert when there are motorcycles on the roads.
The first crash today was at 12:33 p.m., in Concord, where police say 27-year-old Sam Zedian, of Sudbury, died of injuries suffered when his motorcycle struck a car driven by Jarryd Heyl, 20, of Bedford, on Sudbury Road at the entrance to the Nashawtuc Country Club.
Zedian was taken to Emerson Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

At 3:44 p.m., a 54-year-old man was killed when his motorcycle left Route 2 East in Westminster, near Wyman Road, and struck a guardrail. State police have not yet identified that man.
Both crashes are being reconstructed, and both remain under investigation. No charges have been filed in connection with either crash.
UPDATE: A man was banged up pretty bad, but did not suffer life-threatening injuries when his motorcycle struck a black sedan on Merrimack Street at Aiken Street in Lowell tonight about 9:45 p.m. Pictures in this entry are of the crash and motorcycle driver here in Lowell.
No word on his condition, but injuries were non life-threatening. Bike is registered to a Boston man.
