It was a little over a year ago that a Cadillac crashed and took out the front window of Danas Fruit & Confectionery at Gorham and Appleton streets.
Another car came darn close tonight following a two-car collision at the same intersection.
A Subaru Outback and a Ford Mustang collided in the intersection a little before 8:30 p.m. The impact sent the Outback careening through a traffic light, which ended up on the car’s hood, and nearly into the store.
The front bumper of the car was about a foot from now-repaired window that was smashed in last year.
At least three people were taken to the hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries, and there was a child in a car seat in the back of the Subaru.
No word on whether there are charges or anything because reports are still being written.
