A woman who lives on Willie Street, near Brooks, told me she heard about three gunshots. “Pop pop pop” she said she heard from inside her home.
“I heard the booms too from my bedroom window,” said a little girl, maybe 7 or 8, as she stood on her stoop with her family.
Police were looking for an Asian male, about 17, about 6’1, who was reportedly wearing a white shirt, white hat and jeans. He fled toward Willie Street, according to police radio broadcasts.
